The absence of appropriate exercise will lead the hedgehog to depression. To avoid the hedgehog falling and breaking its legs, you need a high quality wheel. And hedgehogs run around a bit. So you need a big enough cage. The cage needs to be as big as you can manage in size. Your seller of the hedgehog may be able to supply you with all of these.
